This is a new steel type that has successfully replaced 40Cr steel. It has high strength, hardness, wear resistance and good toughness. Its hardenability is slightly higher than that of 40Cr. The critical hardenable diameter in oil reaches 18~ 33mm; the machinability is good after normalizing, and the process performance of cold drawing, thread rolling, tapping and forging, and heat treatment are also good. The tendency of grain growth, oxidation, decarburization and quenching deformation at high temperature is small; but It has temper brittleness and its tempering stability is slightly worse than 40Cr steel. [Application Example] This steel is generally used in a quenched and tempered state, with a service temperature range of -20~425°C. It is mainly used to replace 40Cr steel in the production of medium and small-section quenched and tempered parts, such as automobile axles, steering shafts, worms, and splines. Shafts and machine tool spindles, gears, etc. In addition, it can also replace 40Cr steel to produce parts with larger cross-sections such as Φ250~320mm winch intermediate shafts. This steel can also be used instead of 40CrNi steel when making smaller parts.

Used to manufacture parts subject to wear, such as rotating shafts, spindles, crankshafts, splined shafts, connecting rods, universal joint shafts, meshing rods, gears, clutch plates, bolts, nuts, etc.

Manufacture of mechanical parts with low dynamic load and impact load and requiring good wear resistance, such as forged gears, shaft friction discs, machine tool spindles, engine spindles, rollers, tie rods, spring washers, etc.
Characteristics and applications = Without heat treatment: HB ≤ 241; Heat treatment: normalizing; Impact power: Aku ≥ 31J; High strength, poor plasticity and toughness, medium machinability, poor weldability, and a tendency to form cracks during water quenching. Generally used in normalizing and quenching and tempering conditions, for parts requiring higher strength, wear resistance or elasticity, and small dynamic load and impact load, such as gears, rollers, machine tool spindles, connecting rods, secondary springs, etc.

1. When used to manufacture general punches, the batch size is less than 1,000 pieces, the material to be punched is soft low carbon steel plate, the thickness is ≤1mm, and the die used is zinc-based alloy.

It is used for parts that require high strength and wear resistance or elasticity, dynamic load and small impact load, such as gears, rims, flat springs, crankshafts, etc. It can also be used as casting.

51CrV4 is a higher-grade spring, used as important springs with large cross-section and high load, as well as valve springs, piston springs, and safety valve springs with operating temperatures <300°C.
75Cr1 75Cr1 is the foreign standard cold work tool steel grade, which is equivalent to the German grade 1.2003. The foreign standard cold work tool steel grade, the German grade 1.2003 is equivalent to the domestic grade T8Cr.C: 0.2~0.78%
